Critically ill / Palliative Patient Time and number restrictions are removed. Please discuss visiting arrangements with your care provider team.

Pediatrics Parents are welcome at all times.

Obstetrics Support person may stay with patient - No limit of hours.

Transitional Care Unit noon to 8 p.m.

Emergency Department (ED)
Visitors in our ED are defined as immediate family only are limited to one visitor per patient. In the case of no immediate family, consideration is made for individuals other than immediate family in consultation with and by request of the patient. Our ED is not a suitable environment for children 12 years old or younger and therefore they are not permitted to visit except under extraordinary circumstances
For admitted patients in the ED awaiting an inpatient bed, regular inpatient visiting hours (2 to 8 p.m.) and number of visitors (maximum of two per patient) are to apply, taking into consideration any extraordinary circumstances.
