Foundation hits $4.2M for EHR project

Patients benefit from clinic collaboration
People in West Parry Sound are receiving more timely medical treatment for substance use disorders closer to home. The Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) Clinic provides low-barrier treatment for patients who have substance use disorders, particularly with alcohol or opioids.
The clinic is part of the North East Local Health Integration Network’s (NE LHIN) Regional Opioid Strategy, designed to meet the rising rates of opioid use disorder, accidental overdoses, hospitalizations, and hospital emergency room visits across northeastern Ontario.

Donors create perfect start for 2020
The new Donor-purchased GE Revolution Frontier CT scanner is now improving our delivery of Patient and Family Centred Care in many ways.
Last week we said 'farewell' to the large trailer that sat outside our front entry. After providing yeoman’s duty through the transition from our old 64-slice to our new 128-slice scanner, the mobile CT system has returned to the United States (south of Chicago) where it originated from.
